Víctor García was born in 1948 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

He became a graphic artist and type designer and worked for important Buenos Aires' advertising agencies as creative director, art director and graphic designer.
During his career he was awarded several prizes, both on advertising and graphic design.
His Zootype type design was awarded in Germany in 1997.
Specialized publications from Japan, Europe and USA published his works, that also appeared in a number of books.
His Tangomaniacs type designs were exhibited during the 2003 and 2004 Typecon staging.
Currently he is a contributor to the tipoGráfica magazine from Buenos Aires and since 2002 he became part of the Munich based Novum magazine correspondent's staff.

Víctor García nace Buenos Aires, 1948.

Diseñador gráfico y tipográfico.
Trabajó en importantes agencias de publicidad de Buenos Aires, como director creativo, director de arte y diseñador gráfico.
Durante su carrera profesional obtuvo varios premios locales -publicitarios y de diseño- e internacionales, como su tipografía Zootype, premiada en 1997 en Alemania.
Sus trabajos fueron publicados en libros y publicaciones especializadas de Japón, Europa y Estados Unidos.
Sus diseños tipográficos Tangomaniacs se exhibieron en las ediciones 2003 y 2004 de Typecon.
Colabora con la revista tipoGráfica de Buenos Aires. Desde 2002, integra el staff de corresponsales de Novum magazine, de Munich.
